Celebrating our 10-year anniversary this year, The Bearded Chap established itself into the market in early 2013, as Australia’s first beard grooming product company with the launch of their Original Beard Oil which is now recognised all over the world.
Today we are a full luxury men’s grooming brand and have customers in over 50+ countries around the world and barbers and retailers across Australia, New Zealand, Europe, North America, Africa and Asia. The Bearded Chap is now one of a handful of global companies that is fully vertically integrated. We manufacturer and produce our Luxury Men's Grooming Products on site at our 11,000sft factory in Morningside, Brisbane. Producing luxury Hair, Beard, Body, Skin and Fragrance products for men.

This role is a full-time role with national travel, base salary + uncapped commission structure, with the opportunity for career advancements. Working closely alongside The Bearded Chap’s CEO & Founder, you’ll be instrumental in expanding our brand across Australia. In this dynamic position, you will nurture relationships with our amazing existing trade customers, uncover and engage new partners, tap into emerging market opportunities, and spearhead sales to continue to propel our brand's rapid growth.
NATIONAL SALES MANAGER DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Below are the duties that you will be responsible and accountable for:
🧔🏻 Prospecting: Identify potential clients or business partners, and the decision-makers within the client organization.
🧔🏻 Market Analysis: Research and identify new market opportunities.
🧔🏻 Networking: Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to create a network of contacts.
🧔🏻 Sales Presentations: Present products or services to potential clients, tailor presentations to the needs and interests of specific individuals or businesses.
🧔🏻 Sales Closing: Negotiate terms of business and close sales including contract negotiations on enterprise customers.
🧔🏻 Collaboration: Work closely with team members from other departments, especially marketing and product teams, to develop and refine sales strategies.
🧔🏻 Existing account servicing: Continue to service and take reorders from our existing trade customer base, including product training and education.
🧔🏻 Relationship Management: Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients, through managing and interpreting their requirements, including product education and training.
🧔🏻 Sales Targets: Meet or exceed sales quotas and targets set by the company.
🧔🏻 Sales Strategy Development: Develop sales strategies and set targets for the sales team.
🧔🏻 Feedback: Provide feedback to the company regarding market trends, competitive threats, unmet needs, and opportunities to deliver greater value to customers.
🧔🏻 Reporting: Document daily activities, prepare weekly, monthly and Quarterly reports, and regularly update the CRM system. End of month
🧔🏻 Training: Stay updated with the latest trends in sales techniques, and undergo periodic training as necessary.
🧔🏻 Achieving Sales Goals: Being accountable for achieving or exceeding monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
🧔🏻Client Satisfaction: Ensuring client satisfaction by delivering quality service and handling any issues or concerns professionally.
🧔🏻Representing the Company: Act as a representative of the company, ensuring that one's behaviour and actions reflect positively on the organisation.
🧔🏻Ethical Practices: Adhere to company guidelines, industry regulations, and ethical standards in all sales activities.
🧔🏻Continuous Improvement: Regularly evaluate and adjust strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
🧔🏻Team Collaboration: Being accountable for working efficiently with team members, sharing insights, and collaboratively addressing challenges.
As a key member of the Sales team, you will need to be enthusiastic and able to work at pace, be accurate, methodical, and enthusiastic about executing your duties, responsibilities, and accountabilities.

🧔🏻 5+ years of SBDM sales experience.
🧔🏻 Experience export sales in international markets.
🧔🏻 HubSpot CRM sales experience
